Abstract Submission Guidelines

1. It is mandatory to register for the MAC conference for poster submission and presentation.
2. Title of presentation: choose a brief title (maximum of 100 characters) that clearly
describes the content. Avoid abbreviations in the title (Abbreviations may be used in the text
after they are defined when first used)

3. Principal author: mention the name, highest educational degree, institution, phone, email
and complete mailing address.

4. Co-authors: mention their names, highest educational degree and institution.

5. Abstract: It should contain only 300 words. Avoid diagrams, illustrations, tables, references
or graphics in the abstract. Provide maximum relevant information in the abstract.

6. Structure of abstract: Objective, methods, results and conclusions.

7. Key-words: Please indicate 3 keywords for your abstract.

8. Last date for abstract submission – October 31, 2022

9. Plagiarism: Studies found to have significant plagiarism will not be considered for

10. Types of studies: All observational (case reports, case series, cross sectional, cohort, etc)
and interventional (RCT) studies will be accepted for Poster Session.

11. Case report: Abstract need not be structured – objective, methods, results and conclusions.
They can be submitted as a text in the following format – case presentation and outcome. Use
maximum of 150 words.

12. Abstract should be submitted to the email ID [email protected] by October 31th 12:00PM.

Poster Submission Guidelines

1. It is mandatory to register for the MAC conference for poster submission and presentation.
2. The poster has to be presented with a Power Point slide converted to PDF file: The slide should
be static with no animation, slide transitions, sound or video file. Sample poster is provided below.
3. The poster has to be presented and self recorded in zoom and sent as MP4 file. The video recording details and process of uploading the video will be emailed to the shortlisted
participants from the selected abstracts.
4. Any presentation recording exceeding 3 minutes will be automatically dis-qualified.
5. The posters should have the Title of study, Authors, Departments and collaborating
institutions if any, Background, Aim, Methods, Results and Conclusions.
6. Poster presentation has to be done in English with spoken word (no poems, raps or songs).
7. The final poster presentation video and the pdf should be submitted to the email ID [email protected] by November 6th 11.59 pm.
8. The Faculty judging panel will assess and grade all the posters submitted. Any poster not
conforming to the guidelines of presentation and submission will be rejected. The decision of this
review committee is final.

Final Poster Prize Event

1. After the grading and evaluation of the posters by the faculty judge panel, the best 10 in each
category(case reports category & case series + case studies category) will be selected for the
final poster prize event on November 18th, Tuesday between 4:15 and 5:15 pm. Participants whose posters are selected for the final poster prize event should make themselves available online in the
conference platform for the final evaluation.
2. Posters shortlisted for the final poster prize event will be displayed in the Conference Booth for all
the conference attendees to visit and view.
